Lauren Moses, VP Operations, MHA, CHE, RPN

Lauren is a Registered Practical Nurse with nearly 25 years of experience in home health care.  She began her career working as a PSW in the community while she was a student nurse.  She fell in love with the delivery of service in the home of the patient, so directly after graduating, she remained in home health care working as a visiting nurse and continued working a variety of roles within in the sector.

Prior to joining Home Concierge in early 2021 as the Director of Operations and has progressed into leading Home Concierge as the VP of Operations. Previously, she worked as an Area Director for a home health care organization in their private pay division.   Lauren has spent the last 15 years also teaching PSW programs and module-based curriculum to community and facility settings across Ontario. 

In her free time, Lauren enjoys camping, hiking and photography.  Lauren also loves to learn and is currently on her own education journey.  Her husband, two children and dog live in a village in the forest, close to trails where they can do all the outdoor activities they enjoy.   

 

Sharon Binelli, Senior Director People Development

Sharon is a People Development Leader with over 20 years’ experience within the
Healthcare industry. Sharon joined the leadership team in 2021. Prior to joining
Home Concierge, Sharon built and led Talent Acquisition teams in both the private
and non-profit sectors. Sharon also completed her R.N in the U.K prior to migrating
to Canada.


Sharon oversees all things People at Home Concierge and is passionate about
creating healthy and engaged workplaces where high performing teams can be
successful.


In her free time, Sharon loves to spend time with her daughters and husband,
travelling, reading, binge watching Netflix or exploring with their two Labradors.

 

Manpreet Shako, Area Director

Manpreet Shako is a passionate leader with over a decade of experience in local and national community healthcare business operations. As the Area Director at Home Concierge Manpreet is dedicated to building a team of healthcare professionals that are committed to creating both a positive member and team member experience. Manpreet’s specialty is in building strong and effective teams that approach challenges with positivity and a commitment to finding the best resolution. Manpreet ensures business operations are carried out effectively and efficiently, whilst proactively anticipating and managing change. 

 

Manpreet enjoys exploring cuisines and cooking new recipes to share with her family and friends. Manpreet also loves to travel, and is looking forward to discovering new cuisine in her future adventures abroad.

 

Will Cara, Manager of Business Development | Strategic Partnerships

Will has spent over 30 years working in the hospitality space, with over 14 years being in healthcare. Will has enjoyed working in both Retirement Communities as well as in community healthcare. Will’s life goal is to make a positive impression in every situation.  Relationship building means the world to him. Will ensures that in every situation, he will work tirelessly to find a solution that suits everyone. He aims to be the most positive, enthusiastic person in the room.

In his spare time, Will loves to coach baseball and he enthusiastically supports the community whenever he can. You will find with enjoying time with his family and their pets.

 

Meron Manna, RN, Clinical Practice Lead

Meron has been a Registered Nurse for over 10 years. She has many years of experience working in acute care inpatient settings, working in medical-surgical units, specializing in urology, nephrology, and transplant. She has also enjoyed working in outpatient settings including biological infusions. She truly enjoys being a nurse, caring for her patients as well as their families, and making a difference in their lives. She is a huge advocate for her patients and aspires to provide the utmost quality of care to them during their times of need.

In her free time, Meron enjoys spending time with her family and friends, working out, going for walks by the lake, and traveling.

 

Carmela Terzo, Lead Concierge

Carmela, also known as, Carm, joined Home Concierge in January of 2020 as a Companion and shortly after, held the position of the Team Lead role. As Carmela continued her journey with Home Concierge, in November of 2020 she was promoted to the position of Concierge. Currently, Carmela is with our team as the Lead Concierge.

 

Carmela holds a diploma as an Early Childhood Educator however, in the recent years decided to explore a different avenue of caring for others. Carmela thoroughly enjoyed her time working with our Members and wanted to continue in a role with Home Concierge that would still allow the opportunity to ensure each and every Member was being cared for in a respectful, professional and loving manner. Carmela is happiest when she is able to put a smile on a Members face! 

During Carmela’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her own elderly grandparents, visiting family and friends, sitting by a lake catching the sunset, or simply staying in and watching Greys Anatomy! 

 

Shem Shillingford, Personal Concierge

Shem joined the Home Concierge Team in January 2021 as a Personal Concierge. Shem is a proud graduate of the Social Service Worker Gerontology Program at Seneca College. She has enjoyed working with older adults in the healthcare system for over 10 years. Shem commits herself through hard work and by sharing her passion for healthcare. She enjoys loving what she does every day.

Shem takes pride in advocating for her members to ensure they receive the best quality service possible. She also enjoys working closely with her team members and has built strong relationships with them.

 

Ruqia Duale, PSW Team Lead

Ruqia has been a PSW for over 4 years before joining the Home Concierge team as our Team Lead in January 2023. With inspiration from caring for her late grandfather, Ruqia developed the drive to use her knowledge and skills to give back by becoming a PSW. She has many years of bedside experience under her belt and is striving to expand her skills further in the leadership role.

As part of working at Home Concierge, Ruqia has worked hard to support her fellow colleagues in achieving goals and serve in assisting with assessments of our valued members. Her vision is to continue to evolve into the best version of herself. She lives in Toronto with her family and enjoys unwinding after a long day by baking up a storm.
